Work Done:

JOLT is a mininal, no frills, no fuss notetaking application.

Focused on speed and productivity through the reduction of clickable elements through the useage of motion gestures.

PROBLEM:

The majority of note taking apps on the market do not prioritise speed.

There are many note taking apps on the out there and much of it is filled with a myriad of tools and functions.

HYPOTHESIS:

The function of a notepad is to take down notes as fast as possible. 

Clickable elements can be minimised and replaced with the swipe gesture. 

HOW MIGHT WE:

Design a simple and intuitive notes app with little distractions.   

Ensure the notes app focuses on speed.   Reduce clickable elements to the minimum.
